A SMALL "PEAK" INTO MY WORLD (GET IT? LOL)
STorytelling WEDDING & FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY ROOTED IN CONNECTION, NATURE, AND REAL EMOTION.
Hey there, I’m Marissa! I’m a wife, a mom, a mini Aussie enthusiast, and a storyteller at heart. I feel most at home outdoors—whether it’s hiking through the woods, breathing in that crisp mountain air, or standing at the ocean’s edge, letting the waves remind me to slow down.
I believe in deep belly laughs, the magic of a great photo, and that a good Pinot Noir + heartfelt conversation can solve almost anything. When I’m not chasing light with my camera, you’ll find me chasing my toddler, watching a comfort sitcom for the 100th time, or listening to my favorite podcast, Armchair Expert (yes, I fought the internet for that limited "edish" holiday sweatshirt—and won!).
What You Can Expect:
- A photographer who gives gentle guidance when you need it and space when you don’t.
- A relaxed experience where you don’t need to perform.
- A mix of candid moments, natural portraits, and documentary-style storytelling that feels warm, earthy, and full of feeling.
- Someone who will cry behind the camera during your vows and be just as excited as your best friend when you say, “I do.”
A Bit More About Me:
- I live Vermont with my husband and our toddler.
- I’m happiest by the mountains or the ocean (coffee in hand, camera nearby).
- Some of my favorite shows are Ted Lasso and Schitt’s Creek—I’m all about humor with heart.
- I’ve been photographing people for 5 years and working as a therapist even longer. Both have taught me how to hold space, notice the quiet magic, and care deeply.
I wear two hats in life—photographer and therapist—and both have taught me the value of being present, intentional, and deeply connected to the people I work with. That’s why I only take on a limited number of weddings each year—so I can give each couple the time, attention, and creativity they deserve.
I can’t wait to create for you.

What makes Me, Me?

Originally from Connecticut → Now living in Vermont, where the mountains (and maple syrup) stole my heart.
Therapist by day, storyteller always. Just like I hold space for my clients’ stories in therapy, I do the same behind the lens.
Mountains or beach? Both! I love the stillness of the mountains and the rhythm of the waves—each one makes me feel grounded in a different way. And yes, I’d love to photograph your wedding by the ocean!
Why photography? Because a photo can stop time—letting you relive a moment exactly as it was, again and again.
Coffee order? Anything warm enough to reheat three times before I finish it. #MomLife
Favorite way to unwind? Binge-watching my favorite sitcoms—guess how many times I’ve watched Parks and Rec or New Girl!
It's a serious JOY to create for you
